Fiber optic expansion in Pennsylvania will foster new business development opportunities for DQE Communications. DQE, the premier provider of high-speed fiber optic networking for businesses and carriers throughout Southwestern PA, Eastern OH and Northern WV, is bringing its fiber optic-based network solutions eastward in Pennsylvania. The company is extending its backbone network, currently embedded around Pittsburgh in western Pennsylvania from Indiana to Harrisburg. To further this expansion, the company is also planning a 90-mile metro build in Harrisburg, the state Capitol of Pennsylvania.
