DQE Communications Moves Headquarters to New Location in Pittsburgh’s South Side

DQE Communications, the premier provider of high-speed, fiber-optic data networking for businesses and carriers, announced today its new headquarters location at 45 South 23rd Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. DQE occupies approximately 14,000 square feet of space at the multi-tenant property, which is about three blocks from the company’s previous location in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood. The conveniently located building, close to downtown and major highways, was officially opened to employees on Monday, Jan. 17, to coincide with the company’s return to the office.

“DQE is one of the companies that shifted to accommodate new ways of working during the pandemic, and we’re excited to welcome employees back to a new office when they do return to the office on a part-time basis,” said President and CEO Jim Morozzi. “With the shift to a hybrid environment, we require slightly less space with the expectation that employees will spend some of their time working dispersed. When they are in the office, employees will have access to a state-of-the-art office space that employs DQE’s very own fiber network, providing our employees with the same great bandwidth and connectivity that DQE supplies to many other commercial buildings in the area.”
